This happened ages ago, but I haven’t had time to stick it up here on the blog. I can belatedly announce now, though, that The 13th Horseman has been shortlisted for the Scottish Children’s Book Award 2012 in the older readers category. Woo-hoo!
It’s up against some stiff competition – namely The Prince Who Walked With Lions by Elizabeth Laird and Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein. Still, even if it doesn’t win, it’s great to be shortlisted.
You can find out more about the awards (and, if you’re in school in Scotland, how to vote) on the Scottish Book Trust’s website.
