The End is Nigh!

In just two short days my new standalone novel, The 13th Horseman, will officially be published, and I can hardly wait. I’ve had the idea for this book buzzing around in my head since I was about 18 years old, and it’s a massive relief to let it go off and stand on its own two feet.

But as one journey begins, so another must end. The Diary of the Apocalypse that has been running for the past several weeks will be concluding on Thursday, when Pestilence will be writing his final entry. If you haven’t read any of it yet, then go back to the start and catch up now. It ties in closely with The 13th Horseman, but also provides clues about the follow-up book, The Lost Book of Everything, and there are even some references to what should be the next book after that, too. It’s a big intricately-woven web of words, with me sitting in the middle like a big spider of some description.

But, you know, funny and that.

Barry, I’ve been really enjoying the blog posts leading up to the launch of “The 13th Horseman”. I hope that the book does really well.

I’ve never thought of you as Shelob before…

I’m really looking forward to reading The 13th Horseman (but I’ll be sad to see the end of Pestilence diary, I’ve been really enjoying reading it :D )
