Mr Mumbles – WINNER!
Just a quick post tonight to let you all know that Mr Mumbles has won the Royal Mail Award! Hooray! More tomorrow.
Best game trailer ever?
Just watched this trailer for the upcoming DEAD ISLAND video game, and was so impressed I watched it again. Twice. After seeing this trailer, I don’t think I’ve ever wanted a game as much in my entire life.

Crowmaster review on Emotionally Fourteen
This rather excellent review of The Crowmaster was published on the Emotionally Fourteen website today, as part of my ongoing blog tour. Last week’s stop was at The Book Zone. Before that, Wondrous Reads carried a review and interview with me. The final stop on the blog tour will be at Bart’s Bookshelf on the 21st of February. If you just can’t contain your cravings for some Barry-Hutchison-words, though, check out this week’s Big Issue Scotland, which features an interview with me in which I talk about The …
The Blog Tour Continues
Well, I made it back safely from The Crowmaster Tour on Friday night, only to begin moving house on Saturday morning. The move is still going on, but I’ll blog about the tour properly, and post the photos I took, later this week. In the meantime, though, there’s a brilliant review of The Crowmaster and an interview with me over at The Book Zone. It’s the second stop on my blog tour, and follows on from the one at Wondrous …
The Crowmaster
Book three in the award-winning Invisible Fiends horror series After Kyle’s ordeal at school, his mother packs him off to the safety of the countryside, where there will be no temptation to use his powers, and he can forget the bad things – like the fact that his dad is a monster determined to destroy the world. But here’s the thing about the countryside: it’s full of nature, and nature sometimes has claws. Followed by a spindly figure in the …
