Hi There!

It would be awesome to discover a new species, while just bringing back some rented DVD's. Well it might be possible, because there are so many species living on our wonderful planet, with many species still left to be discovered (most of these are insects,or creatures brought up from the depths of our ocean.
Birds, however are rarely new to science, and sorry to say this is a domesticated version of the Muscovy duck (Cairina moschata).
The wild version is black and looks very different from the ones kept in aviaries.
Actually,we have like 5 of those ducks, raised at a barnyard near our house. When they started to learn how to fly, they came across our yard, and terrorized the place, leaving their poo everywhere haha.
But they were still tame enough to touch them :D
Hope this answer helps,if u want to know more you can of course type the name in at Google or visit www.wikipedia.nl

Greetings, Patrick
