Being a fool for all things Google, I’ve just downloaded their shiny new browser – Google Chrome. Only been trying it for about forty seconds, so can’t really comment, but it’ll have to go some way to knock Firefox off my Top Browser spot.

You know, as a (sometime) designer, I see Google Chrome as potentially a bad, BAD, thing (much like say … Bovril, or any book written by Kevin Keegan). Don’t get me wrong – competition is a great thing … but when you need to author sites to be compliant with various versions of IE, Firefox & Safari, adding another browser to the mix is sure to create more headaches. What’s the bet the fekker implements its own take on CSS positioning and standards as well ?
